SUMMARY:QRM® Workshop Utrecht (NL)
DESCRIPTION:Want to quickly learn what QRM (Quick Response Manufacturing) means for your organisation? Then come to our interactive QRM introductory workshop. \nThrough various simulation games and healthy discussions\, you will actively experience what QRM is in an accessible way. Learn what unnecessary waiting times do to your organisational processes and how QRM helps your organisation shorten lead times. \nVarious common problems will be highlighted and discussed in detail during this interactive session. Of course\, you will also have the opportunity to present your own problem case\, which can be discussed and addressed on the spot. In three hours\, you will be sufficiently informed about the four fundamental pillars of QRM and you can start making changes. \nThe event will be held in Dutch.

SUMMARY:QRM Silver training
DESCRIPTION:A new QRM Silver training series on Quick Response Manufacturing will start in November 2025. This ten-part ‘QRM Silver’ evening course will enable you to independently initiate a QRM project\, perform the analysis phase and support implementation. A collaboration between Sirris and the QRM Institute\, this course is composed of nine knowledge modules spread over ten class evenings. The first half of the training focuses mainly on learning the basic principles\, methods and tools of QRM. The second half of the programme focuses on practical application and implementation skills. \nRead more about this programme on our blog or about QRM on the Sirris website. \nThe training is provided by Belgian QRM experts: Tom Koomen\, Pascal Pollet and Ben Proesmans. \nFor whom?\nThe course is aimed specifically at managers and executives with an interest in QRM\, internal improvement coordinators and external consultants. No prior knowledge is required to start the course. \nKey takeaways\nDuring the course\, much attention is paid to ‘soft skills’ and change management. As a result\, participants will be able to initiate a QRM project\, carry out the analysis phase of a QRM implementation and support its implementation. \nKnowledge modules overview\n\nModule 1: Power of Time:\nHow Time Thinking Provides New Perspectives\, Manufacturing Critical path Time (MCT)\nModule 2: Organisational Structure:\nFocus Target Market Segment (FTMS)\, cells in the office and in production\nModule 3: System Dynamics:\nImpact of variability and utilisation\, the planning paradox\, optimal lot size\nModule 4: Company-wide deployment of QRM:\nLead time reduction at suppliers\, R&D and the impact on cost accounting\nModule 5: Social dynamics: teams and team development:\nComposition and development of teams\, new role for the manager\nModule 6: QRM simulation game:\nAnalysis of a simulated production and application of QRM principles\nModule 7: QRM implementation:\nAnalysis methods and change management\nModule 8: Case Studies and Testimonials:\nApplying QRM in case studies\nModule 9: Applying QRM in one’s own company\n\nProgramme\nThe training starts at 17:30 and ends at 21:00. Participants are welcome from 17:00. A light meal will be served at the start. \nCourse 1: 4 November 2025\nCourse 2: 18 November 2025\nCourse 3: 25 November 2025\nCourse 4: 2 December 2025\nCourse 5: 9 December 2025\nCourse 6: 16 December 2025\nCourse 7: 6 January 2026\nCourse 8: 13 January 2026\nCourse 9: 20 January 2026\nCourse 10: 27 January 2026 \nCertification\nAt the end of the course\, you can take part in the QRM Institute’s certification exam if you wish. The knowledge of the participants is tested by means of a written theoretical exam. The implementation skills are tested by having the participants work out a case study. The optional exam will take place on the third of February of 2026 or by appointment. \nSuccessful completion of the exam leads to the ‘QRM Institute Silver’ degree\, on condition that at least 75% of the training course was also attended. After this training\, you can also participate in the ‘QRM Institute Gold’ follow-up training. The ‘QRM Institute Silver’ training is given in several countries\, thus the certification will also be valid abroad. \nRegistration\nIn order to keep interaction optimal\, the number of registrations is limited to approximately 12 people. The price includes all course materials\, examination and registration fees. \nIn addition\, Flemish SMEs can make use of the KMO portefeuille (the KMO portefeuille must be requested at the latest 14 calendar days after the first day of training). (Approval no. Sirris: DV.O105154). \nFor more information about the KMO-portefeuille: http://www.kmo-portefeuille.be \nDocumentation\nParticipants receive the following documentation: \n\nAn extensive documentation folder with the slides and case studies\nThe Dutch version of the book ‘It’s about time’ by Rajan Suri\n‘MCT Quick Reference Guide’ van Rajan Suri
