SUMMARY:QRM® Silver Training Offenburg (D)
DESCRIPTION:The QRM® Institute Silver course combines theoretical knowledge of QRM® principles with practical applications through exercises and simulations. It illustrates the change from a cost-oriented traditional mindset (store floor or support services) to an agile QRM® cell organization that focuses on reducing cycle time. \nQRM® is not about working faster\, but about working better together. It is about simplifying workflows and streamlining company processes – both internal and external (suppliers and customers) – to create collaborative dynamics. \nThe main goal of QRM® is to grow the business by focusing on reducing lead times in all processes. QRM® reduces delays by eliminating unnecessary time from the customer’s perspective: the so-called “white space”. \nIf you are faced with increasingly individualized customer requests with short deadlines\, then QRM® is for you. \n\nObjectives of the Silver training\nUnderstanding the origin and the 4 basic principles of QRM®\nLearning techniques and tools for analyzing the lead time (MCT)\nLearning and implementing the laws of system dynamics\nLearn and implement the keys to a cellular organization\nBetter understand the dynamics of interpersonal interactions\, the keys to team development and the quick response leadership style\n\nDates \n10 April 2026 – 2:00–4:00 p.m. – Online onboarding \n14 April 2026 – 7:00–9:00 p.m. – 1st online training session \n15 April 2026 – 7:00–9:00 p.m. – 2nd online training session \n20 April 2026 – 22 April 2026 in person \n23 April 2026 Visit to a QRM company \n6 May 2026 – 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. – Follow-up and exam preparation

SUMMARY:QRM Webinar: Deliver projects on time with better decisions
DESCRIPTION:Do you think your development teams could go faster? Would your company be better off with fewer project delays? Join us on 19 March for this webinar with Katherine Radeka\, creator of the Rapid Learning Cycles framework\, and discover how to eliminate the root causes of late-stage changes to deliver projects on time. \nThe Rapid Learning Cycles framework helps teams deliver the right technologies and products on time. It applies agile principles to structure the research needed to make the most important development decisions more robust. With better knowledge\, teams make more resilient decisions. This reduces the need for late changes and helps teams complete projects faster. \nRapid Learning Cycles is not agile software development applied to product development. It is a purpose-built framework based on agile principles\, designed for engineers and scientists working in the physical world. It removes the main obstacles to on-time delivery while preserving scope and lowering costs. \nFor whom?\nThis webinar is designed for: \n\nR&D and Engineering Managers\nProduct Developers and Technical Leaders\nProject and Program Managers\nInnovation Leads and CTOs\n\nKey takeaways\nDuring this webinar\, guest speaker Katherine Radeka shares industry experience and explains: \n\nOn-time delivery for development projects\nWhy many R&D projects take too long\, why teams using Rapid Learning Cycles go faster\, and how this improves overall R&D performance.\nAgile for the physical world\nWhy “just use Agile” doesn’t work for physical product development teams\, and what Rapid Learning Cycles does differently to encourage engineers and scientists to embrace agile ways of working.\nThe Key Decisions You Have Right Now\nHow to identify the Key Decisions that cause most project delays\, and then how to make those decisions more resilient to eliminate late design changes.\n\nYou can use these insights immediately after the webinar to assess how this approach can work for your teams. \nAfter the presentation you can ask Katherine specific questions about applying these methods to your current challenges. \nSpeaker\nKatherine Radeka is the Founder and Managing Director of Rapid Learning Cycles BV.  She is the author of four books\, including The Shortest Distance Between You and Your New Product which focuses on Rapid Learning Cycles\, and When Agile Gets Physical  which describes her work to design agile ways of working for physical product development teams. Over the past 15 years\, Katherine has helped some of the world’s most recognizable brands such as Novo Nordisk\, Philips\, Atlas Copco\, Whirlpool\, Johnson & Johnson\, Thales and Trimble\, to get their best ideas to market faster.

SUMMARY:QRM Quickie - online -
DESCRIPTION:QRM stands for Quick Response Manufacturing\, a transformation model that considers TIME to be the central resource. The focus is on non-value-adding time – in line with the principle of radical working:\ndo what works and leave everything else out. \nIn our live presentation\, we show which organisations QRM is particularly interesting for. We present the four pillars on which QRM rests and why the consistent focus on time rather than costs is both radical and necessary in order to achieve the following goals: \n10-25% cost reduction\n80-90% shorter throughput times\n55-65% improved delivery reliability\n100% employee satisfaction \nThe event will be held in German.

SUMMARY:QRM Institute Silver® Kurs
SUMMARY:QRM Institute Community – Global meeting June 20/21th
DESCRIPTION:The International QRM Community is an initiative of the QRM Institute. It serves as a platform where experts\, practitioners\, and individuals interested in the QRM methodology come together to exchange knowledge and experiences. \nThe Global meeting will span two days. We will gather on the first day at 13:30\, allowing ample time for all participants to arrive at the meeting location without rushing. The first day will consist of an afternoon session\, followed by a morning and early afternoon session on the second day concluding after lunch. In the late afternoon\, participants will return home. \nThis year the international QRM Community will visit 2 manufacturers Atlas Copco (Belgium)  and Bregil (Netherlands) who have both transformed their way of operating by introducing QRM. \nVisit Bregil \nBregil\, based in the Netherlands\, specializes in manufacturing metal products from steel tubes\, sheets\, and profiles. For many years\, the company has embraced Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) principles to enhance its operations. One of the first implementations of QRM at Bregil was the establishment of a dedicated ‘furniture cell’. The cell\, originally staffed by six employees\, is equipped with a welding station\, an assembly station\, multiple presses\, and other essential machinery. Together with the nearby cutting and bending department\, this team successfully reduced the lead time for furniture products from 28 days to just 5 days. \nA second initiative involved a pilot project in the cutting department\, which adapted to receiving cutting instructions only one day in advance. This shift moved the focus from bundling orders for efficiency to minimizing lead times\, fundamentally altering operational priorities. \nThese changes initially led to an unusually quiet and empty shop floor\, yet resulted in significantly higher sales turnover. Both management and staff at Bregil’s facility in Gilze found the new environment initially unsettling but ultimately beneficial as they adjusted to the new\, more streamlined way of working. \nVisit Atlas Copco \nThe Atlas Copco Airtec Division is a part of the Atlas Copco Group with a total of 49.000 employees in 70 countries. The division’s Antwerp manufacturing plant is renowned for producing compressors that cater to a broad spectrum of applications—from compact units for dental practices to large-scale industrial compressors. \nIn a strategic move to enhance performance\, the factory recently integrated Quick Response Manufacturing principles into the production process of a specific compressor family. This initiative involved relocating the machining and assembly equipment to a newly designated building\, thereby creating a dedicated production cell. Moreover\, significant emphasis was also placed on the social dynamics of the workforce to cultivate a cohesive and effective team. As a result of these comprehensive changes\, the plant has seen a notable decrease in lead times and a significant increase in productivity. \n  \nProgramme \nThursday\, June 20th \n\n13:30 – 13:45: Welcome at Atlas Copco\n13:45 – 14:45: Presentation of the QRM Journey at Atlas Copco\n14:45 – 16:00: Tour of the production area\n16:00 – 17:00: Questions and experience sharing\n17:00: End of session and transport to hotel in Antwerp\n19:00: QRM Community Dinner in Antwerp\n\n  \nFriday\, June 21th \n\n08:00: Transport from hotel to Bregil\n09:15 – 09:30: Welcome at Bregil\n09:30 – 10:30: Presentation on QRM Journey of Bregil\n10:30 – 11:30: Tour of the production area\n11:30 – 12:15: Questions and experience sharing\n12:15 – 13:00: Lunch at Bregil\n13:00 – 15:00: Interactive workshop: “How to accelerate your QRM Journey”\n15:00 – 16:30 Transport back to the hotel (Antwerp)\n\nLocations \nAtlas Copco \nBoomsesteenweg 957 \n2610 Antwerpen \nBelgium \n  \nBregil \nLange Wagenstraat 57 \n5126 BB Gilze\, \nNetherlands \n  \nDinner location in Antwerp: \nRestaurant Octave \nKoningin Astridplein 7 \n2018 Antwerpen \nBelgium \n  \nLogistics \nRecommended hotel: \nHotel NH COLLECTION ANTWERP CENTRE \nPelikaanstraat 84 \n2018 Antwerp \nBelgium \n  \nWe have secured a block of rooms specifically for this event. The QRM Institute will offer transportation services from Atlas Copco to the hotel in Antwerp after the Thursday visit\, as well as from the hotel in Antwerp to Bregil on Friday\, with a return trip to the hotel. Please request these transport services if needed. \n  \nRegistration \nPrice: 125 Euro\, including dinner and bus transport \nPersonal travel and accomodation costs are not included. \nThe registration for the international QRM community meeting should be made via an email to your local QRM Institute contact person. \nThe visits are limited to 20 participants. \n
