SUMMARY:QRM Webinar: Deliver projects on time with better decisions
DESCRIPTION:Do you think your development teams could go faster? Would your company be better off with fewer project delays? Join us on 19 March for this webinar with Katherine Radeka\, creator of the Rapid Learning Cycles framework\, and discover how to eliminate the root causes of late-stage changes to deliver projects on time. \nThe Rapid Learning Cycles framework helps teams deliver the right technologies and products on time. It applies agile principles to structure the research needed to make the most important development decisions more robust. With better knowledge\, teams make more resilient decisions. This reduces the need for late changes and helps teams complete projects faster. \nRapid Learning Cycles is not agile software development applied to product development. It is a purpose-built framework based on agile principles\, designed for engineers and scientists working in the physical world. It removes the main obstacles to on-time delivery while preserving scope and lowering costs. \nFor whom?\nThis webinar is designed for: \n\nR&D and Engineering Managers\nProduct Developers and Technical Leaders\nProject and Program Managers\nInnovation Leads and CTOs\n\nKey takeaways\nDuring this webinar\, guest speaker Katherine Radeka shares industry experience and explains: \n\nOn-time delivery for development projects\nWhy many R&D projects take too long\, why teams using Rapid Learning Cycles go faster\, and how this improves overall R&D performance.\nAgile for the physical world\nWhy “just use Agile” doesn’t work for physical product development teams\, and what Rapid Learning Cycles does differently to encourage engineers and scientists to embrace agile ways of working.\nThe Key Decisions You Have Right Now\nHow to identify the Key Decisions that cause most project delays\, and then how to make those decisions more resilient to eliminate late design changes.\n\nYou can use these insights immediately after the webinar to assess how this approach can work for your teams. \nAfter the presentation you can ask Katherine specific questions about applying these methods to your current challenges. \nSpeaker\nKatherine Radeka is the Founder and Managing Director of Rapid Learning Cycles BV.  She is the author of four books\, including The Shortest Distance Between You and Your New Product which focuses on Rapid Learning Cycles\, and When Agile Gets Physical  which describes her work to design agile ways of working for physical product development teams. Over the past 15 years\, Katherine has helped some of the world’s most recognizable brands such as Novo Nordisk\, Philips\, Atlas Copco\, Whirlpool\, Johnson & Johnson\, Thales and Trimble\, to get their best ideas to market faster.

SUMMARY:The Invisible Time in Hospitals: Why Patient Flow\, not Capacity\, drives Performance
DESCRIPTION:Hospitals strive to improve efficiency\, yet delays persist. Why? Because the real issue is often invisible: Patient waiting time. In most systems\, up to 70% of the total lead time is non-value-adding. This talk reveals how shifting from resource optimization to Patient flow performance unlocks a powerful lever for improving care and operations. \n\nHospitals are under constant pressure to improve efficiency\, optimize resources\, and deliver better patient care. Despite numerous Lean initiatives\, many organizations still struggle with delays\, bottlenecks\, and overwhelmed teams. \nWhy? Because the real issue is often misunderstood. The problem is not capacity\, it is the time patients spend waiting. \nIn most healthcare systems\, up to 70% of the total lead time is non-value-adding. It is waiting time between steps\, decisions\, and departments —invisible\, unmanaged\, yet highly impactful. \nThis keynote introduces a paradigm shift: moving from resource efficiency to patient flow time performance.\nBy making waiting time visible and measurable\, hospitals can unlock a powerful lever to: \n\nimprove Patient experience\nenhance Team collaboration\nincrease Operational Performance\n\nDrawing on real-life healthcare transformations\, including hospital settings\, Dominique Andreux will share how organizations have reduced delays\, improved flow\, and re-engaged Teams by focusing on end-to-end lead time. In a VUCA world\, performance is no longer about doing more.It is about waiting less and flowing better. \n\nCustomer Reference:\nAt a clinic belonging to the RAMSAY SANTE Group\, we worked on simplifying outpatient flows and ensuring operating theatres started on time. By bringing the Teams together – clinical staff\, doctors\, and administrative staff – to analysethe actual workflow\, we: \n\n\nRealigned priorities from start to finish\nRemoved hidden friction points\nAnd synchronized key stages of the patient journey\n\nThe results speak for themselves: \n\nAn increase in operating theatre capacity of around 20% without additional resources\nA simpler and smoother Patient journey\nA marked improvement in the experience of Staff and Doctors
