A new QRM Silver training series on quick response manufacturing (QRM) will start in the autumn of 2024. This ten-part course will enable you to initiate a QRM project, carry out the analysis phase and support the implementation.
The training, a collaboration between Sirris and the QRM Institute, consists of nine knowledge modules, spread over 10 evenings. The first half of the training focuses mainly on learning the basic principles, methods and tools of QRM. The second half of the programme focuses on practical application and implementation skills.
Read more about this programme on our blog or about QRM on our website.
The training starts at 17:30 and ends at 21:00. Participants are welcome from 17:00. A light meal will be served at the start.
During the course, much attention is paid to ‘soft skills’ and change management. As a result, participants will be able to initiate a QRM project, carry out the analysis phase of a QRM implementation and support its implementation.
The programme is delivered by Belgian QRM experts, including several hard-skill trainers and one soft-skill trainer. More information about the trainers can be found here. The training sessions will be in Dutch.
At the end of the course, you can take part in the QRM Institute’s certification exam if you wish. The knowledge of the participants is tested by means of a written theoretical exam. The implementation skills are tested by having the participants work out a case study.
The exam can be taken at home.
Successful completion of the exam leads to the ‘QRM Institute Silver’ degree, on condition that at least 75% of the training course was also attended. After this training, you can also participate in the ‘QRM Institute Gold’ follow-up training. The ‘QRM Institute Silver’ training is given in several countries, thus the certification will also be valid abroad.
The course is aimed specifically at managers and executives with an interest in QRM, internal improvement coordinators and external consultants. No prior knowledge is required to start the course.
